I realise that my choice of entertainment is not normal source material for a blog, however on the morning commute, amongst the mix I usually listen to, that ranges between Sinatra, Motown, Bowie, good knows what else, my iPod/phone's random selection, Elgar's Land of Hope and Glory.
Music often sets the mood for the day, yesterday the Beach Boys fun, fun, fun bought the suggesting of summer holidays, and this morning Elgar's music which at one time would have summoned up a mood of national pride, history and all that malarkey, but just left me empty.
I've considered why pride in Britain and it's heritage is hard to muster and it's this Liberal, Labour and Conservative politicians have sold this nations sovereignty to a blancmange of Eurocrats, this country no longer legislates for it's own people, even worse, we have surrendered our borders, millions now live in this country, who've no investment in the country and by that I mean historic and cultural links, distinct from those of us whose families, have contributed to Britain as it is today, over many years, funding and creating a civilised infrastructure of Education, Health, Welfare and Law.
The chances are that in discussing this I'm breaking the law, still it's my belief that uncontrolled migration has damaged this country and things will only get worse.
You can take this as the moronic ranting of, well a moron, or a plea for politicians to invest and protect the British people, those of us who actually built this country and maintain the facade of a once great nation.
