NEWS AND COMMENT FROM MARGATE - OFFENDING POLITICIANS SINCE APRIL 2006
I went on the Saturday and it was really busy which is great for Margate. It's nice to see the fantastic beach used for something like this.I took photos too (over 100 whittled down from around 300) and you can see them here if you fancy.
I have a lower boredom threshold and manage about 50 also I had to dash home to wrestle with lunch. Time and tide wait for no man and neither does Mrs Me.
I went through Margate on Saturday and there were a few hundred spectators at most. A horrible way to use a beautiful beach. I hope I can avoid the oil when I walk on there.
What a terrible attitude for someone that lives in a dying town. Wake up and see what this event brings to the place.
