Look both ways
According to BBC Kent, as part of a county-wide programme, there are to be improvements to Northdown Road for pedestrians, if it is anything like the improvements they made to St. Peter's Road, I would take extra care, particularly as it involved removing the cycle lane.
Tony, you should have advised the cyclist to use the two-way cycle lane on the pavement; any cyclist who stays on the road into St.Peters is putting themselves seriously in harms way.
ReplyDeleteThe two pavements have been turned into cycle lanes. Given the lack of pedestrians here and the dangerous nature of the road i think this is the best option.
