Margate it could be worse
I frequently go to the Google news website and type in Margate, this generally throws up a lot of stories about a town of the same name in Florida after the initial shock, reading stories of police chases suspects gunned down, I then reflect that living in Margate Kent is not such a bad thing.
There's a Margate and Ramsgate in South Africa too, and in Australia.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started researching my move to the Millionaires' Playground, I was quite tempted to buy into the new seafront development.
As it transpired, I was looking in the wrong continent!
